Bikers "Ride For Kids' Sake"

Motorcycle riders and Clubs from several parts of the state will all come together to “Ride For Kids’ Sake” this Sunday, June 23 to benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters of Mid-Maine.  Event organizer Jim Batty of the Steel Brethren Motorcycle Club says there will be two or three major groups of bikers that will organize in different areas of the state before eventually converging on the Steel Brethren clubhouse at 1097 Western Rd. in Warren by 2:30 pm.  There the bikers will find entertainment, food, and raffles for door prizes donated by local businesses.

One group of Knox County bikers will start at the Time Out Pub in Rockland, with registration starting at 10:30 and kick stands up at noon.  This group will then head to VIP Parts Tires & Service at 25 Starrett Drive in Belfast to arrive by 1:00, before heading on to the 10/4 Store in Montville (804 Acadia Highway), then traveling the final leg on to the clubhouse in Warren.
