Blue Water Fine Arts Event to Benefit Habitat for Humanity | Events
PREY “PARADE ROUTE” PRINT RELEASE AND SIGNING JULY 25 AT BLUE WATER FINE ARTS TO BENEFIT HABITAT FOR HUMANITY
Barbara Ernst Prey will sign a new print release of her iconic painting Parade Route on Friday July 25th from 2-3 pm at Blue Water Fine Arts in Port Clyde. Sales of the print will benefit Habitat for Humanity. Parade Route, painted in Maine, is selected by the U.S. State Department’s Art in Embassies Program for exhibit at the U.S. Embassy Residence in Hong Kong. She will also be signing her print The Collection which was seen around the world as it was selected by the U.S. State Department for the cover image for all invitations sent out by every U.S. Embassy and U.S. Ambassador worldwide for their Independence Day Embassy celebration. Her annual exhibit American Contemporary: 40 Years Painting is July 20 – August 31 at Blue Water Fine Arts. “I have been a longtime supporter of Habitat for Humanity and am pleased to again support their work”, said Prey.
As one of the key figures of 21st century landscape painting, Prey was appointed by the President of the United States to the National Council on the Arts, the advisory board of the National Endowment for the Arts. Members are chosen for their established record of distinguished service and achievement in the arts.
